This was the Long Night of Science at FBH
On June 22, 2024, it was finally that time again: From 5:00 PM to midnight, science enthusiasts could discover the world of microelectronics and semiconductor technology with us.
The response was overwhelming – many curious visitors, including children and adults, took the opportunity to participate in interactive experiments and take guided tours through our cleanroom and special laboratories. The atmosphere was excellent, and the wide range of activities led to many positive feedbacks.
Particularly popular were the tours in cleanroom suits and the microscope stations where visitors could admire structures finer than a hair. Great enthusiasm was also sparked by the interactive experiment for identifying adulterated alcohol using light and the demonstration of diode lasers for ophthalmology, where we irradiated protein with a laser. Our precision mechanical workshop, which showcased the latest equipment for material processing and 3D printing, also attracted many interested visitors.
Overall, the event was a complete success, and we are very pleased with the successful execution and the high number of visitors. We thank everyone who participated and look forward to the next exciting events!
