Bose-Einstein Condensate in Space

In 2007, German scientists for the first time world-wide successfully created a Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC) at zero gravity in a drop tower in Bremen. Now, the scientists plan to generate a BEC for the first time in space within a new joint project named "Quantus III".
