Publication of FBH and TU Berlin among most read articles of Journal of Applied Physics
The publication "Impact of operation parameters on the degradation of 233 nm AlGaN-based far-UVC LEDs" is the most read article in the Journal of Applied Physics in 2022 with over 2,100 downloads. The authors Johannes Glaab, Jan Ruschel, Neysha Lobo Ploch, Hyun Kyong Cho, Frank Mehnke, Luca Sulmoni, Martin Guttmann, Tim Wernicke, Markus Weyers, Sven Einfeldt and Michael Kneissl of FBH und TU Berlin show which factors influence the lifetime of far-UVC LEDs. Thus, the article provides an important foundation for the development of longer-lasting LEDs with extremely short wavelength.
With more than 1,500 downloads, a paper by Anna Mogilatenko, Sebastian Walde, Sylvia Hagedorn, Carsten Netzel, Chia-Yen Huang and Markus Weyers is also among the top 10 most-read articles in the journal. The publication "Impact of Si doping on dislocation behavior in MOVPE-grown AlN on high-temperature annealed AlN buffer layers" addresses the defect structure in unintentionally doped and Si-doped AlN layers grown by metalorganic vapor phase epitaxy (MOVPE) on high-temperature annealed (HTA) sputtered AlN templates on sapphire substrates.
