Green ICT Camp for students

The Green ICT Camp gives 50 students an insight into various communication technologies and their environmental impact and carbon footprint. At the FBH, students learn more about the latest mobile radio communication technologies and at the same time learn which aspects influence the environmental impact of these technologies and how they are evaluated in a life cycle assessment. This content is taught by our scientists in seminars and group work. There will also be soft skills training, information on career opportunities and a gala evening with a science slam.

The camp is coordinated by the Research Fab Microelectronics Germany (FMD) and takes place in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Telecommunications, Heinrich-Hertz-Institut, HHI and the Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration IZM.
