FBH supports campaign for openness and tolerance
The Ferdinand-Braun-Institut in Berlin, together with eight scientific institutions and companies, is participating in the new campaign by the Adlershof Technology Park. This initiative, launched by WISTA Management GmbH on June 8, aims to send a strong message of openness and tolerance.
Under the motto “35.000 people, 35.000 stories. One goal: Crafting future from diverse perspectives”, the campaign addresses the growing trends of isolationism and discrimination observed in parts of Europe recently. The diversity of people from various cultures and with a wide range of expertise in the Adlershof Technology Park is a key strength and foundation of its success – this is what the campaign aims to highlight. By participating, the Ferdinand-Braun-Institut, Leibniz Leibniz-Institut für Höchstfrequenztechnik, underscores its belief that tolerance and diversity are essential for scientific and economic progress as well as for social cohesion.
"Promoting an affirmative, open-minded, and diverse working environment is part of our mission", emphasizes Prof. Dr. Patrick Scheele, Scientific Managing Director of FBH. "Diversity is a lived culture for us: Our 383 employees come from 30 different countries. Thanks to plurality, openness, and cooperation, new ideas constantly emerge here."
By supporting the campaign, FBH commits to a strong community of research institutions and companies characterized by mutual acceptance and the exchange of diverse perspectives.
